I'm Shyla. I am a certified yoga therapist, instructor, facilitator and (maybe more importantly), a highly sensitive empath. My therapeutic journey has taken me beyond study of the healing power of yoga, to studying metaphysics and energetics and particularly, the mechanics of personality and subtle energy and their connection to physical, mental and emotional disorders. These two parts of our human experience create the undercurrent that guides and informs every aspect of our lives.  

I specialize in guiding, facilitating, and creating safe environments for people to have transformative experiences within.

There is a direct relationship between breath rate, mood state, and autonomic nervous system state. This class takes a therapeutic approach to practice integrating alignment based movement, mindful breathing and finishes off with a nourishing restorative meditation. Suitable for all levels of practice. This class is part of the ‘Pay What You Choose’ collective. About Shyla Hacala With over 1000 hours of credited training, Shyla is a certified yoga therapist (C-IAYT) with the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She leads therapeutic classes and facilitates workshops, in addition to working privately with clients in a clinical setting.
