Bonnie started practicing Yoga 20 years ago when she was a student in university. Yoga became a physical and mental outlet to relieve stress. Twenty years later she was further drawn to the practice and became a certified yoga teacher completing the 200 hour yoga teacher training program with Breathing Space Yoga Studio in May 2017. Having discovered Patanjali’s 8 limbs of yoga, the practice has touched every aspect of her life.
In addition to her yoga training, Bonnie is also a registered Physiotherapist working with a healthcare team as a Wellness Facilitator in the area of chronic disease prevention and self-management. She teaches Chair Yoga at Station 12 where her students get to enjoy the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits of yoga with the support of a chair.
Off the mat Bonnie enjoys spending quality time with her husband and three children.
“Yoga is the practice of tolerating the consequences of being yourself.”
