Tricia began practicing yoga in 2001 as a means of therapy. For many years she practiced in the safety and comfort of her home, as she found her yoga practice deeply personal. Over the years, Tricia’s love of the physical practice and emotional healing grew while she simultaneously began to comprehend the ways in which the practice of yoga enriched her life off the mat. In 2012 Tricia completed her yoga teacher training and has been teaching ever since. In addition to her 200hr YTT, Tricia has studied under the guidance of Manju Pattahbi Jois, son of Guruji, the father of Ashtanga yoga. However, Tricia’s primary teacher is Lara Luer, a highly trained alignment based teacher. Tricia’s love of systematic flow paired with her playful personality often results in practices that challenge your edge and leave you wanting more!

Beyond more traditional asana training, Tricia is certified in Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy (TIYT), Yoga for Overcoming Anxiety, and Reiki Level 1 & 2. Tricia believes in the healing practice of yoga moving beyond asana, or postures, and deeper into the physical body. She uses the healing practices of TIYT and Reiki to support her students and clients heal from everyday stress as well as trauma or other mental health concerns, be it an isolated or persistent experience.
